This is the young man.
He is now in full-time residential care. That vile disease has robbed him of rational thought. It has taken him and left him, high and dry. He is lost and, mostly, in despair because nothing makes sense any more. Don’t believe the lie that ‘they are happy because they don’t understand’. I can imagine nothing worse than being trapped in a world where nothing, but nothing, makes sense. Yesterday I saw all of that in his eyes.
I could not carry on recording the gradual disintegration.
So. I will begin the opposite process. I will find every image possible to use to track his reintegration. To make him whole again.
This is the start. He was a very young pilot in the RAF here, on his first posting overseas.
